Ways to Enjoy the Rest of the Summer in North Andover

Savor the season.

Summer is crawling toward an end. But there are still a few weeks left to savor the hottest season. Here are some local suggestions:

Stevens Pond: The local swimming spot will close on Aug. 28. So there is still time to enjoy a nice outdoor swim and relaxation. A day pass is $12.

Whim: There are a couple of Whim dinners left this month at Smolak Farms. Check out this video from the most recent one.

Golf Tournament: The North Andover Fire Department is having a golf tournament fundraiser next week, and there is still time to register.

Stevens-Coolidge Place: The Stevens Coolidge Place is a local treasure that offers tranquility and breathtaking scenery, and it's great for summer walks.

Summer Concerts: There's still time to see North Andover's Summer Concert Series, every Sunday evening at 6 p.m. on the Common. There are also kids' shows every Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Farm Picking: There's still time to pick some berries -- and soon corn -- at your favorite local farms. Check out all of the local farms on our business directory.

Hiking: North Andover has a lot to offer when it comes to scenic hikes. Check out Harold Parker State Forest, Lake Cochichewick or Weir Hill.
