ROLLING RIDGE CELEBRATES 65 YEARS
NORTH ANDOVER, MA: The 65th
Anniversary Celebration for Rolling Ridge Retreat & Conference Center will
take place on Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 2pm-5pm. It was in 1948 that the
United Methodist Church purchased the 38 acres on Great Pond Road in North
Andover. In the past 65 years, it is estimated that over 500,000
people have gone through the doors of Rolling Ridge. Today, Rolling Ridge,
often described as a “True oasis of quiet beauty and gracious hospitality,” is
host to countless church groups, national Non Profit groups, individuals seeking
rest and renewal, in addition to the summer home for the Lawrence Community
Daycare.
Beginning at 2pm on September 8th is an
elegant Afternoon Tea, taking place in the beautiful courtyard outside the
grand mansion. Amidst harp music and the serenity of Lake Cochichewick,
guests can enjoy dainty tea sandwiches, delicious pastry, and of course, tea.
The cost for the tea is $20 per person, and reservations can be made by calling
the Ridge at 978-682-8815 or on line at www.rollingridge.org.

including the honoring of the “65 in 65” leaders and respected individuals who
have been nominated by Rolling Ridge guests and alumni for their service, dedication
and leadership in making this a better world. First among the 65 is

his visionary leadership with youth and his faithful witness for peace and
justice. Mary Elizabeth Moore, Dean at Boston University School of
Theology will give the keynote address; Retreats: Renewing Self and Renewing
