Pazzo Gelato Opens at Eaglewood

The new business brings a taste of Italy to North Andover.

Got a craving for a gelato or a panini? You're in luck.

Pazzo Gelato opened at 99 Turnpike St. in the Eaglewood Plaza this weekend. Owner Jim Demotses and his wife Karen of North Andover said they hope to bring a taste of Italy to town.

They serve dozens of flavors of gelato -- from basics such as strawberry or cookies and cream to exotics like coco hazelnut and banana -- made with milk, not cream, so the treats have fewer calories than ice cream.
