Randy Brogen, Neighbor

I began my career in the U.S. Army and was privileged to be a part of some amazing historical events like the Berlin Wall coming down and the reunification of Germany.   My military specialties were in aviation and cryptology, which provided me an environment to experiment with cutting edge technologies on a regular basis. As a result, I pursued the field of technology upon my discharge, and now have over 25 years experience in this arena. 

I recently left the corporate world where I was the Chief Technology Officer for an international firm in downtown Boston, where I worked for 12 years.  I have hands-on experience in all aspects of networking, hardware and software, as well as application and web development. Outside of that, when I'm not spending time with my wonderful wife and three children, I am probably doing something in photography, which is a real passion for me. 

I took up photography almost 10 years ago and progressively got more involved in the art to the point of starting my own studio.  I am now a published, internationally award winning, Certified Professional Photographer (CPP).  I am currently one of only 36 Certified Professional Photographers  in the state of Massachusetts and a CPP Liaison with the responsibility of helping other photographers reach this same certification.  I serve on the Board of Directors for the Professional Photographers Association of New England (PPANE) and the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts (PPAM), two of New England's largest professional photography organizations.  I also manage the technology for both organizations.

 I believe that the best results are achieved when my subjects are relaxed and at ease with the process, environment and me.  Whenever possible, I shoot in natural settings and lighting conditions to create a spontaneous atmosphere so my clients are comfortable.  I enjoy capturing special moments that are often times fleeting, and then seeing my clients' reaction when they see the results.
