ReplyWalked through downtown today and didn't even notice these new trees. Looks to me like the difference this project will make will be hard to notice.

ReplyOne simple question that I don't understand, how does a company get a permit from the city to operate a business in a building that is falling down?

That would be awesome. A garbage transfer station in Salem for all communities to use. I bet you live far from that location?

ReplyHaving SFD put themselves in danger at that building is outrageous. If it were closed, as it should be,firefighters would not have to worry about protecting the equipment on site and could stay a safe distance away.In fact,I doubt if a trailer full of trash would even be there. As I have said many times, someone is going to get hurt at that site.

Marblehead YMCA ,40 Leggshill Road,Marblehead Ma,781-631-9622. If the article says it,s in Marblehead and the Fire department says it,s in Marblehead and the phone book says it,s in Marblehead, then I think it,s in Marblehead. Your welcome.

Yeah! I realize. Those trees will grow and pop the metal greates around them and cause the bricks to do exactly what they did before. Maple trees grow surface roots. Not recommended for brick walkways,no?
