The Knights need your support! Do you enjoy golf? Do you support North Andover High School Football? Well, you're in luck. The 13th Annual Friends of North Andover Football Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, July 23, at the Merrimack Valley Golf Course. Registration is at 7 a.m., and the tournament starts at 8 a.m. There will be a 2:30 p.m. dinner reception at the VFW in North Andover. This year, the North Andover Knights travel to Masco for their annual Thanksgiving Day showdown. Head over to Masco prepared with football knowledge by checking out these five things you need to know about the game. 1. Date/Time/Location The game gets underway on Thursday morning at 10am. Masconomet Regional Junior-Senior High School is located at 20 Endicott Road in Topsfield. 2. Last Year The Knights hoisted the Turkey Day trophy with a 20-7 win at home last year. Injured quarterback Brandon Walsh didn't start but did play a considerable amount in North Andover's bid to win the CAL/NEC regular season title. Lynn English scored 14 in the first quarter and 10 in the fourth to give them a 24-13 win over the Knights. North Andover got a pair of touchdown runs from John Iannone but the Knights were clearly outmatched without their star quarterback at 100%. Walsh ankle was injured and it showed. The Knights take the field next on Thanksgiving at Masco.
