Tell Us: How Would You Describe North Andover?

A thought-provoking discussion about your town.

We often hear people ask, "What is North Andover like?" And the more specific, cringeworthy version, "Is North Andover like Andover?" We thought it would be fun to have a discussion thread about what makes us North Andover. And we're interested to know how you describe North Andover to people who don't live here. Is North Andover unique, or similar to other New England towns? How would you describe your town to out-of-towners? What about North Andover should out-of-towners know about? Let us know what you think in the comments. And as always, keep it clean.

I grew up in the "trailer trash" and I've done pretty well for myself. Most of the kids that I came up with me have done well too. That was a pretty nasty generalization and indicative of the town's ongoing holier than thou attitude. I'm not surprised to see its still alive and well.   more ›

Cougars and Lions Battle in U10 Action

The two North Andover youth teams competed over the weekend.

The following was submitted by the North Andover Soccer Assocation.  The U10 boys North Andover Lions played a terrific exciting game against the North Andover Cougars on Saturday October 22. In the midfield the game featured width and anticipatory runs by left and right midfielders NICK BARRET, ETHAN FINNEGAN, GRAHAM PETERSEN, and HAYDEN KNIGHT, …
