Get in the holiday spirit
As the Holiday parade passed by the front doors on Main Street, the North Andover Council on Aging hosted The Gala of Trees fundraising event. Local groups and businesses donated decorated trees, wreaths, and gift baskets to be raffled off. Santa made a special visit to sit and pose for pictures with the kids. There were also many donated items on sale to raise money. The Friends of the North Andover Senior Center would like to thank those that contributed:

The North Andover Senior Center held its annual Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday afternoon. The full feast was served and cooked by the Senior Center staff and volunteers. "This event takes about 4 to 8 weeks to plan and get off the ground," said Senior Center Program Manager Barbara Champigny. Many items were donated to the Senior Center by local businesses for a raffle that consisted of many prizes such as Christmas trees of all sizes, a Menorah, ornaments, a gingerbread house, holiday gift baskets, gift certificates, hair care products and more. Some donors included Fantastic Sams, White Street Paint, McLay's Florist, Mad Maggie's Ice Cream and the Ninety Nine Restaurant. One Dec. 16 the town selectmen will hold a breakfast for all town …
