Here are some ideas for casseroles. --- Hamburger Corn Casserole Provided by Mary Khederian, Westford Patch blogger Ingredients 1 Package of Broad Egg Noodles, cooked, drained 1-2lbs Ground Beef 1 Onion Chopped 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup (undiluted) 1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup (undiluted) 1 Can Corn (drained) 1 Cup Sour Cream 2 T Butter Melted ½ Cup of Seasoned Breadcrumbs Directions: In large saute pan sauté the onions and the ground beef till no longer pink. Many businesses will have modified hours for today.
It's Christmas Eve, which means many places will be closing early and others will be closed all day. Here is a partial list of places. Restaurants: Restaurants will be open today, but many will have early closing hours. Jaime's Restaurant, for example, will be closing their kitchen at 3 p.m. and serving drinks until 4:30 p.m. Joe Fish and The Loft will be closing early as well. China Blossom will have normal business hours. Retail Stores: Most retail stores will be open all day, and many will have normal business hours. Santa Claus is preparing his sleigh and his workshop is putting the final touches on the toys. In only two days, Santa will make his worldwide trek – and Patch will be there to let you know his location. Check back to Patch on Christmas Eve (Saturday) and we’ll provide NORAD’s latest information about Santa Claus’ location.
Although most businesses and restaurants close by 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and do not reopen until Monday, there are a few places you can go to grab coffee, dinner or a drink.
No plans for Christmas, or just feel like dining out? Don't worry, there will be a few restaurants open in town. Here in North Andover 1. Coffee Shops - Starbucks will be open until 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, then 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Christmas Day. Duncan Donuts at 129 Main St. will be open on Christmas Eve until midnight. 2. North Andover's Asian restaurants, China Wok, Shunju and China Blossom will be open regular hours the entire weekend. 3. Mexican restaurant Casa Blanca will also be open on Christmas Eve for dinner between 5-8pm. Bollywood Grill will also be open 5-10:30pm on Saturday only.
