Holiday Bazaar too big for a single building; "Kids' Mall" open for business to the delight of youngsters.

On Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until 3p.m., the North Parish Unitarian Universalist Church hosted its annual Red Bow Fair from 9a.m. until 3p.m. Fair-goers were treated to two buildings of activities, auctions, food and fun. The church basement featured a silent auction with many items available including gift certificates and services from local merchants and assorted holiday gift baskets. Morning snacks and lunch were also available at the "Culinary Corner." A raffle took place, and children had the opportunity to pose for photographs with Santa. Raffle prizes included various wines, a homemade quilt made by North Parish members, and children's toys and games. Smolak's Farm brought their renown doughnuts to share with fair-goers. Right …

St. Paul's Episcopal Church Holds Annual Christmas Fair

Proceeds benefit church as well as local charities.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church held its annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, which benefited many local charities as well as the church itself. The fair included a silent auction, affordable children's books for children, lunch of pancakes, bacon, soups and sandwiches, games and prizes for children, and baked goods. Half the proceeds were donated to various local charities while the other half benefitted the church itself. The downstairs children's game room was supervised by Church School Director Sue Johansson. "They have more fun than we make money," Johansson said of the children playing various games such as skeeball for a myriad of different prizes.
