I will NOT recommend this church to anyone especially at this time (no disrespect to St. Michael) !!!
Sunday, June 24, 2012 , I had booked a Mass for the intention of our 25th wedding anniversary, and since we got married at St. Michaels, we decided to celebrate it there.
The orator read the Mass intention as my husband is still living (which was correct) then, followed and read my name as if I was deceased! So, I went in the back of the church and mentioned it to them, and to please have it corrected by having someone talk to the priest and to please announce the correction at the end of the Mass, before the final blessing. The reaction and the arrogance of the priest made it worst! It was not corrected and was simply IGNORED! After the Mass, I once again spoke to Fr. Deeley and the response was "Sorry, it was human error, what else can I say".........
Me and my entire family are very upset and would like to spread the word, that our simple request to correct THEIR MISTAKE was ignored and taken for granted! We were supposed to celebrate 25 years of being together and NOT celebrate one being alive and one being dead! People like these unfortunately give the Catholic Church a bad reputation.
