First Burying Ground
978-740-0444
First Burying Ground is a burial ground dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, during the "witchcraft era" of Andover. It features the final resting places of some of the prominent local families who lived during that time. Remaining stones feature traditional burial imagery, and it is believed Anne Bradstreet, Puritan poet, may be buried here.
