What's Happening in North Andover This Week

Your scoop on the week ahead in town.

Weather-wise, we're in for an interesting week. Temperatures will be around 50 degrees Monday, with some rain. But a large blast of arctic air from the North Pole will drop temperatures way down into the teens by Tuesday. By the end of the week things will thaw as temperatures climb into the 30s.

The Board of Selectmen will meet Monday at Town Hall. On the agenda is the proposed entertainment license renewal for Smolak Farms.

The Finance Committee will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall to discuss the town manager's capital improvement plan.

On Wednesday, there will be an early literacy program, "Help Your Child to Read," at 6:30 p.m. at Stevens Memorial Library.

You can enjoy the weekend thaw with a performance by Lydia Warren Blues Band Saturday at 8 p.m. at CrossRoads Coffeehouse.
