NORTH ANDOVER'S 9TH ANNUAL EARTH DAY CLEANUP

North Andover is holding it's Ninth Annual Earth Day Cleanup. Green up your little corner of town.  Not sure where to go? We will be happy to recommend a place in need of attention.  When you check in, you'll get thick contractor trash bags and gloves.   Water and snacks provided by Whole Foods Market.  Wheelabrator will once again be donating the use of a super-sized dumpster for the weekend.  If you're independent minded feel free to do your cleanup whenever it fits into your weekend schedule, just be sure to drop off your bags by Sunday evening as the dumpster will be removed first thing Monday morning.  Please email us at recycle@townofnorthandover.com with the # of volunteers in your party and the street(s) you will be cleaning up, or with your request for an area assignment.  If you have a pickup truck, we could use your help to pick up bags during and after the cleanup.  Last year volunteers picked up more than 4,000 lbs. of trash from our streets and parks.  We hope to see you again this year!
