NAMA Thanks the Community and Residents

Another Successful North Andover Fall Festival

In 2011 the North Andover Merchants Association hosted its first town Fall Festival.  NAMA's goal was to create a community event that could be enjoyed by families, while also beneficial to our business community.  Additionally, NAMA wanted to use this opportunity to support a local charity and donated all proceeds generated from vendor fees and sponsorships to the Knights of Columbus's Disabled Children's Charity.

On September 29th  NAMA hosted its third Fall Festival and it exceeded all expectations.  Thousands of residents and non residents alike turned out to attend this event and with close to 50 participating vendors, attendees were not disappointed. Children enjoyed the complimentary Bouncy Houses and many participated in the numerous fun activities provided, including face painting, scarecrow building and pumpkin decorating, just to name a few.

On behalf of the North Andover Merchants Association, I would like to thank our town officials for their support, the vendors for their participation, sponsors for their generous donations, the Knights of Columbus for hosting our event, and the thousands of people who came to support our local businesses.  Not only was this a successful day for the vendors, the event raised over $4,000 for the Knights of Columbus Disabled Children's Charity, surpassing last year’s donation by more than $1,500.
