Charlie's Angels and the Doggie Walk
Local group raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research
That’s right, it’s that time of year. Charlie’s Angels are on the campaign ground and their mission: Breast Cancer Awareness and Raising Money for Research!
Team Charlie’s Angels has become quite the stable around North Andover. Selling baked goods at the post office, informational pieces in front of McAloon’s and doggie bandanas after receiving an animal massage from Wiggles & Jiggles Pet Care or a groom from Buglers Animal Hospital. Donations are all put towards their ambitious $100,000 goal to help find a cure for this killer.

They have had Zumba classes, done raffles, held Mother’s day breakfasts and hosted Girls Night Out. Each event is held in a different town. Why? Well as Mae mentioned to me, “The more we expand out to other communities, the more public awareness we bring to our cause. We want representation all over North of Boston and Southern NH. We want to become larger and involve more people, we want to keep raising money and we want to find a cure. Research and healthcare is so unbelievably expensive that any amount we donate, we hope is a dollar more to a cure.”
Mae Cahoon, one of the ring leaders of Charlie’s Angels is quite passionate about this cause. Not only is Mae a client of mine, she and I have been friends since she moved to North Andover over 10 years ago. I personally can say, Mae is one of the most driven campaigners I know. She is an advocate and a motivator. That I believe are two of many reasons why Charlie’s Angels has grown to quite the group. There are woman from almost every town in the Merrimack Valley involved with this organization. All with the same goal in mind, raise money for research and find a cure for Breast Cancer.

Sept 25th – from 9AM -2PM – Greenly Park Nashua NH
There will also be face painting, raffles, refreshments, music and dog grooming
YEAH…grab your pooch and take a stroll..Step by step paw by paw let’s help raise some money!
