Dog Owners of North Andover: It is that time of year again...time to renew your dog license.
Most of you have probably already received your notification in the mail. If for some reason you have not, misplaced your letter or need to update information please visit the town website at www.townofnorthandover.com
Licensing Fees are $20.00 for non spayed or nuetered and $19.00 for spayed and or nuetered.
Even if your dog never leaves the yard in Massachusetts it is the law to license all family pet dogs. (M.G.L. Ch 140, sec 137)
Reasons for licensing your dogs:
1. To help reunite a lost pet to his owner
2. Monitor and document rabies information for health and legal purposes
3. It is the LAW
The town would also like to remind pet owner's of the following:
1. All dogs must be kept on a leash outside of your property
2. No dogs are allowed on school grounds or playgrounds
3. Please follow the "Pooper Scooper" ordinance and clean up after your dog
