Lacrosse Playoff Doubleheader Tuesday
The girls play their first round game at NAHS while the boys are in Falmouth.
Both of North Andover’s lacrosse teams are action in the MIAA playoffs beginning Tuesday afternoon.
The girls team will host Westford Academy at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday. North Andover comes into the tournament as the number four seed. Westford Academy comes in with a 9-8-1 record and the number 13 seed.
The Lady Knights finished the 2011 season with a 15-3 record. The winner of Tuesday’s matchup will take on the winner of Wednesday’s Central Catholic vs. Lexington game.

On the boys side, North Andover comes into the tournament as the number 18 seed. In the preliminary round, the Knights will travel to Falmouth to face Falmouth High School Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.
Falmouth finished their season at a 12-7 clip, enough to earn the number 15 seed. North Andover’s season record was 10-8. The winner of Tuesday’s game will face the number two seed Concord-Carlisle on Friday.
