Knights Knot With Whittier

Both boys and girls basketball teams battle Masco tonight.

Monday's for the North Andover Knights hockey squad clinched a berth in the MIAA State Tournament.

Head coach and business teacher Peter Marfione has done an admirable job in his first year behind the bench for the Knights. His team was 10-5-2 going into last night's game against Whittier. 

The Knights and Wildcats tied 2-2 last night in Haverhill. Earlier in the season, the Knights hosted Whittier and walked away with a 5-2 win.

North Andover has three games left in the regular season to tune up for the state tourney; two of those games will be heated rivalry matchups. 

The Knights host Andover High School on Monday at noon in the North Andover Patch and Andover Patch game ofthe week.

On Wednesday, North Andover travels to rival Masconomet. 

Friday

The boys wrestling team will have to shrug off , because they are back in action this weekend in individual competition. The Knights will try to bring home some more hardware from Marlborough High School during the Individual State Tournament taking place Friday and Saturday. Friday’s festivities get underway at 3 p.m.

The travels to Masconomet Regional for a 6:30 p.m. tip-off.

The also take on Masconomet; their game is at North Andover High and starts at 7 p.m.

The boys swim team is in action at 7:30 p.m. tonight. They will travel to Harvard University’s Blodgett Pool to take part in an MIAA State Meet.

O-Zone Lock of the Week

Last week, the Knight ballers ruined the O-Zone’s perfect prediction record by .

This week, the O-Zone will remain loyal and will stick with predicting a Knights victory.

The Scarlet Knights squad will travel to Masco and take out the Cheiftans to put an end to a season long two game losing streak.

After tonight’s game, the Knights have one regular season game remaining at Hamilton-Wenham on Tuesday.

The O-Zone has a 2-1 record predicting Scarlet Knights games.
