Knights Baseball Wins Ninth in a Row

Athlete of the Week Mike Weisman was a force against the Hornets.

Patch’s Athlete of the Week was a one man show for the Knights baseball team yesterday. The southpaw starter was all over the field for the Knights in an impressive 3-1 victory over North Reading on Saturday.

Weisman, committed to Columbia University for college, struck out nine batters in the game. He gave up only one unearned run. The lefty gave up only five hits in his complete game effort.

With the bat, Weisman provided all the offense North Andover would need. He ripped three hits and had a pair of RBIs. Brandon Walsh was the other Knight to record an RBI for North Andover.
