The North Andover girls lacrosse team took on Danvers yesterday morning. In Danvers, the Knights came away with a strong 15-5 win on a drizzly Tuesday afternoon.
The Knights were in control from the start. They lead 8-2 after the first half and held on in the second half by outscoring Danvers 7-3.
At 4-1, the strong Knights squad is confident and will travel to Pentucket tomorrow for a 10:00 a.m. game.

The Knights came into yesterday’s game with a 3-1 record but could not keep up with Dover-Sherborn Regional High School.
The Knights were even with Dover-Sherborn after a quarter of play with the game tied at one. The rest of the way, North Andover was outscored 10-1. The Knights fell 11-2.
Jake Silk had the only two goals for North Andover. Cosmo Capobianco made seven saves in net.

The boys and girls track teams each host Lynnfield High School for a meet beginning at 10:00 a.m.
hosts Triton Regional High School at 10:00 a.m.
O-Zone Lock of the Week
Last week, the O-Zone predicted the Scarlet Knights boys lacrosse team to take care of business against Newburyport High School. The Knights did come away with the win with the final score being 6-4. Dante Querci continued his hot season with two goals.
Nick Pino, , Nate Hitchcock, and Jim Warden also all tallied goals for the Knights and their goalie Cosmo Capobianco made 16 saves.
The O-Zone now has a 6-1 career record predicting Scarlet Knights games.

The Knights take on Masconomet Regional on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. and the O-Zone is picking a Knights win.
