Girls Basketball Season Recap
The 18-4 Knights go into Thursday's semifinal game having won an incredible 15 of their last 16 games.
From an opening season loss to Masco to a thrilling quarterfinal win quarterfinal against Wilmington, the North Andover High girls basketball team has had a season to remember.
Their upcoming star has now lead the team in scoring for two years as both a sophomore and freshman.
Scarlet Knight fans have a lot to look forward to with her on the floor at Crozier Gym for the next two winters. Lumb will be feeling the pressure on Thursday night when her Knights travel to Billerica to take on Arlington Catholic in the Division 2 North Semifinals.

- North Andover prepared hard but couldn't pull out a close game on the road to start off their season.
Decemeber 17, 2010 - The Knights won by ten in what would end up being a preview of the Division 2 North Quarterfinal which North Andover won on Sunday.
Decemeber 21, 2010 - Morgan Lumb had one of her breakout games of the season with 19 points including three three-pointers.
Amesbury 26 North Andover 32
December 23, 2010 - A team defensive effort forces Amesbury to score less than ten points in each of the four quarters.
North Andover 51 Pinkerton 54
- In the Greater Lawrence Christmas Tournament, North Andover lost a close one despite Amanda Foote's 15 point effort.
Lowell 52 North Andover 41
- The Scarlet Knights were unable to come away with a win in the Christmas Tournament; North Andover hit their low point of the season with two straight losses.

January 4, 2011 - North Andover started the new year off with a win and they started a 10 game winning streak by beating Newburport by 15 points.
- North Andover finally solved the puzzle of Pentucket as the Sachems had beat North Andover once in each of the last four years before this game.

January 11, 2011 - North Andover made it three in a row as Julia Titone led her team with 17 points in the game.

- An all around team effort was marked by solid defense and an 11 point effort from Morgan Lumb.
Rockport 18 North Andover 65
- “This is a game you really want to let other kids play that haven’t gotten to play very much,” said Knights head coach Susan Breen after North Andover took its fifth straight win.

January 30, 2011 - Erika Zahoruiko was the hero on this night as she contributed 18 points in an impressive road win for North Andover.
February 4, 2011 - Erika Zahouriko had a a double-double in this game with both 10 points and 10 rebounds.

February 6, 2011 - The Knights made it eight wins in a row as Morgan Lumb led all scorers with 14 points to go along with a pair of three-pointers.
Hamilton-Wenham 26 North Andover 45
- The Knights' ninth win in a row came in dominant fashion as Lumb has another 14 point game while the defense was solid.
North Andover 55 Wilmington 38
February 11, 2011 - North Andover beat Wilmington again to win their 10th straight game. Julia Titone led all scorers in the game wtih 13 points.

- North Andover was able to play with arguably the state's best team throughout most of the game, but didn't have the legs to upend Andover's star studded crew.
February 18, 2011 - North Andover survived a late barrage from Masco to come away with a win and avenge their first loss of the season.

February 20, 2011 - The Knights put a show on tfor the home crowd in this explosion of offense. Morgan Lumb had 20, Erika Zahouriko had 13, and both Caitlin Enright and Julia Titone had 10.
North Andover 63 North Reading 44
- Another win gave North Andover an undefeated regular season in Cape Ann League play. Morgan Lumb was on fire with 19 points.
Tewksbury 16 North Andover 32
- North Andover's defense was stifling as the effort that saw Tewksbury score only 16 total points led North Andover into the Division 2 North Quarterfinals.
Wilmington 35 North Andover 51
- North Andover punched its ticket to the Division 2 North Semifinals with their third win over Wilmington this season. Morgan Lumb simply took control of the game scoring 21 points.
Before the playoffs, Knights head coach Susan Breen was named the Cape Ann League at the Cape Ann League All-Star Game.
Breen and the Knights will be favored to reach the North Finals as they are ranked number two in the tournament with Arlington Catholic coming in at number six.
The game is at Billerica High School on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
