Recreational Full Day Summer Horse Program

Recommended for youngsters ages 8-14, this week long day program offers a structured program that promotes fun and safety while teaching basic horsemanship skills through advanced techniques in horse management.

These may include: how to catch, halter, lead, groom and tack as well as leg wrapping, biting, and show grooming and preparation.

Students will receive two lessons per day and participate in daily farm chores such as turn in and out, feeding, stall cleaning, and tack cleaning. Participants will also learn about a horses body language, how they communicate and what it means for us. The will also learn about breeds, conformation, markings and color, shoeing and basic first aid.

Your child will call one of our 25 specially trained horses "their own" for the week of clinic or, bring your own horse for an additional fee.
