Athlete of the Week: Alex Sullivan

Sullivan won a 2.9 mile race in Lynnfield Wednesday.

Alex Sullivan helped the Knights beat Lynnfield on Wednesday afternoon to get North Andover its second cross country win this season.

The team is 2-1 this year in head to head meets.

Sullivan won the 2.9 mile race in Lynnfield with a time of 16:24 to lead the way in an 18-44 win.

He's coming off a year that saw him advance all the way to all states and finish with a 15:51.9 time for a 110th place finish.

The junior finished in 13th place at last year's MIAA Eastern Division championships with a time of 17:15.

North Andover's next meet is Tuesday at North Reading.
