Shaw Farm Dairy Now Delivers to North Andover

Shaw Farm Dairy is pleased to announce that we are offering weekly home delivery service to North Andover.

In addition to producing our own milk, flavored milk, cream, and ice cream, Shaw Farm is the only dairy in the area that provides certified organic milk directly to consumers. We also offer a variety of bakery items, meat products, eggs, and other locally produced products as part of our home delivery service.

Shaw Farm’s green and yellow milk truck can be seen stopping at homes in North Andover on Wednesdays. Be sure to wave to our milkman, Bill Lannan as he makes his way through town.

Shaw Farm is a family owned and operated dairy in Dracut, MA, and has been delivering milk to homes in Massachusetts for over 100 years. Times may have changed, but we still deliver to your door, continue to use quart glass bottles, and provide the same friendly service of an era gone by.

Amy McLeod is the North Andover resident who helped bring Shaw Farm’s delivery service to town by generating enough interest from friends and neighbors to create a starter route.  “As a mother of small children, it has always been my goal to feed them the best food possible. Shaw Farm milk is fresh, delicious and far superior to any supermarket brand. It has become a staple in our household diet, and the home delivery service is very convenient. I love that their milk is available in reusable glass bottles, which is good for the environment, and we are happy to support a local farm.”

A large part of Shaw Farm’s home delivery customer base is made up of people just like Amy - folks who want to know where their food comes from. Our milk is produced from our own cows, and is batch pasteurized, allowing for full flavor and nutritional benefits. No growth hormones are ever used in our cows, and our herd is fed by cropping land that is protected by an agricultural preservation easement.

In 2009 Shaw Farm constructed a state-of-the art production facility, bottling plant, and farm store - building upon the long standing tradition of a family farm, and ensuring we are able to meet the growing demand for our products.
