Thomson PTO Holiday Fair Needs Raffle Donations

The PTO at the l in North Andover is preparing to host its annual Holiday Fair on Saturday, Nov. 19.

One of the most successful components of the event is the Chance Raffle. In order to make this raffle a success, the PTO needs your help to offer great prizes for this raffle!

The Holiday Fair is one the school’s biggest fundraisers. The money raised at this event is used to support the PTO’s mission of enhancing the educational and community experience at the Thomson School by supporting enrichment programs and other activities that are not normally provided by the school system.

This past year, under the leadership of Principal Gregg Gilligan and his staff of dedicated teachers, Thomson made tremendous gains on our MCAS exams. Thomson was among 18 schools commended by Governor Deval Patrick for making AYP for the second consecutive year and exiting its accountability status. One major factor in this reaching this achievement is the successful collaboration between administrators, teachers, support staff and parents.

The PTO hopes that local businesses and neighbors will consider making a tax-deductible donation to ensure that the PTO can continue to do its part to contribute to the success of our students.
