North Andover High School's Mr. North Andover 2012

19th Annual Mr. North Andover at North Andover High School.

The winner is Stephen O'Grady of the 19th Annual Mr. North Andover.  All of the senior contestants and their sponsors did an outstanding job entertaining the North Andover crowd this year.

Contestants: Kyle Palladino and Dana McManus, Luke Sakakeeny and Rachel Weeks, Dan Laorenza and Julia Mehlman, Brendan Moore and Kelley Hamill, Greg Ryan and Jackie Decologero, Stephen O'Grady and Mackenzie Cool, Kevin Hood and Rachel Barnes, John Iannone and Courtney Armstrong.

For the past eight weeks, this years contestants have worked hard at perfecting their group dance routines, strutting themselves in bathing suits. As well as developing their talents and walking their beautifully dressed sponsors across the stage.  Year after year, Mr. North Andover has helped raise funds for the North Andover High School's SOS party night (Save our Student) after graduation.  This event has become a cherished part of the Senior graduation events.  Family and friends come out to cheer on their favorite contestants. This year's five chosen judges, Mary Beth Lawlor-Chesler - North Andover Middle School PE Teacher, Gregg Gilligan - Thomson Elementary Principal, Tracy Watson - Selectwomen, Patrick Welch - Former Mr. North Andover 2007, and Alyssa Manzi Ritter - Former Patriot's Cheerleader had the hard choice of choosing who would be the one to wear the golden crown for a year. Thanks to Debbi Raffalli and Melissa Downey along with many volunteers and the incredible support of local businesses who have generously donated gift certificates and food, this event would not take place.  Next year will be Mr. North Andover's 20th Year.  Stay tuned.
