Franklin Kids R.A.I.S.E. Funds for Senior Center

The donation was from the Fun Run.

Since kids like to run around, one group of kids does it for a worthy local cause.

For the third year in a row, Franklin School students made a donation to the North Andover Senior Center with proceeds from the school's Fun Run. This year they donated $1,000.

"Each year every student at Franklin runs laps around the playground to raise fitness awareness and funds for the school and the senior center!" said Karen Burke D'Agostino. "The Senior Center was very appreciative and proud of all the students and families from Franklin for their generous donation!"

The Fun Run and donation to the Senior Center fit right in with North Andover schools' RAISE initiative (Respect, Achievement, Inclusion, Service, Empathy).
