Anti-Bullying Workshop for Teens and Parents

Congregation Beth Israel is hosting sessions for teens and parents of the Merrimack Valley to learn how to respond to bullying and cyber bullying.  Teenagers (7th to 12th grade) will participate with Urban Improv, an interactive program that uses improvisational theater workshops to teach violence prevention, conflict resolution, and decision-making.  Parents will meet with Dr. Larry Epstein from ThinkKids at Massachusetts General Hospital.  For more about the organizations involved see www.bethisraelmv.org, www.urbanimprov.org and www.thinkkids.org.

This program is made possible by a grant from the Merrimack Valley Jewish Federation in conjunction with other area synagogues. Congregation Beth Israel is located at 501 South Main Street, Andover.   Please RSVP to Rabbi Margaret Frisch Klein, Religious School Principal at 978-474-0540 or EdDirector@BethIsraelMV.org.
