Women For Tierney Kicks Off
The Tierney campaign is engaging women voters with new campaign ad.
Congressman John Tierney has launched an ad focusing on women supporting his campaign for reelection as well as a group known as "Women For Tierney."
The ad, which can be seen here, features several women from the district talking about why they are supporting Tierney and why they are not supporting Richard Tisei.
“Women have always played a key role in all of my campaigns," Tierney said. "I will continue to fight for the issues that matter to women in the 6th District, such as paycheck fairness and the ability for women to make their own health care decisions. I look forward to continuing my work on behalf of women across Massachusetts."

Tierney cites his vote in favor of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009 and the Affordable Care Act (which provides free birth control) as well as his being pro-choice as accomplishments in favor of women voters.
