Mosquitoes collected outside the North Andover Senior Center have been found with West Nile virus.
"We plan to have a targeted local spray with the proper pesticide one evening this week," North Andover Board of Health Chair Thomas Trowbridge said.
West Nile virus can be transmitted to humans through mosquito bites. The virus is most dangerous seniors.
This is the second time this season mosquitoes in North Andover have been found with West Nile virus. In August, West Nile virus was found in two locations in town.
