Assistant Town Manager Raymond Santilli is now the custodian of a Berkeley Road home, in an attempt by the town to get past taxes paid.

The owners of the home, J. Alan and Maureen Roberts, owe $157,000 in real estate taxes, according to a report in the Eagle-Tribune.

Officials can sell the home — 42 Berkeley Road — to collect the taxes, but plan to work with the property owner.

You think this is bad? Try living next door to the state's #2 tax delinquent. This guy has not lifted a finger to improve his house in the ten years I have lived here.

Wow. Is it on Salem St.?

No but I know what house you mean, you can barely see it at this point! I have no idea why the neighbors or town has not demanded that person clean up his disaster. I'm on Anne road, my neighbor owes about 6 million dollars to the state, so of course there is a lien on the house, so he has no interest in maintaining it as he can never sell. Luckily my other neighbors are great. Ugh I should have planted a wall of bushes 30 feet high when we moved in.
