PHOTOS: Local Democrats at State Convention
A bunch of North Andoverites traveled to Springfield Saturday to participate in the Democratic nomination process.
Democrats from all over the state gathered in Springfield Saturday and overwhelmingly nominated Elizabeth Warren for the 2012 Senate race.
Among them were 16 North Andover Democrats. The caucus is divided by Senate districts, and even though North Andover only accounts for a small portion of the Essex 1st district, North Andover attendees made up 20 percent of that district's section at the convention.
