Worker Injured at Greater Lawrence Sanitary Plant
The accident is still under investigation.
A worker at the Greater Lawrence Sanitary District on Charles Street was injured Thursday morning.
"It was an industrial accident, and OSHA is on their way," Police Lt. Charles Gray said at the scene.
The worker's exact injuries are unknown, but one witness, who asked to remain anonymous, said that steel fell on his head and he may have a badly broken leg and possible head injury.

An officer is conducting interviews to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
The Greater Lawrence Sanitray District is a wastewater treatment facility for North Andover, Lawrence, Methuen, Andover and Salem, N.H.
