Weekend Break Suspects Were Teens

The following information was supplied by the North Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Remember that weekend break-in that spurred a manhunt? It turns out the suspects were teens.

At just after 6 p.m., police received a call by a concerned resident on Bixby Avenue  about people in her neighbor's home. Police said the homeowner then spotted the suspects as they were fleeing, and they struck him with a car. Luckily, he was not injured. By the time police arrived, the suspects fled the area. And shortly afterward police reportedly passed the suspect's vehicle on Route 125.

Police persued the suspect's vehicle, and the vehicle went into Andover, where police were able to stop him just over the town line, an Andover Police spokesman said.
