Unwanted Husband and Shoplifting Arrests

Tuesday, May 15
At 6:55 a.m., a caller on Water Street reported that her husband was banging on her door and she wanted him to leave. Police told the husband to pack his belongings and leave and not to return.
At 3:09 p.m., reported a shoplifter. Brenda Gable, 54, of 440 North Ave., Haverhill, was charged with shoplifting.

Wednesday, May 16
At 12:38 p.m., Lt. Charles Gray was flagged down in Haverhill by someone who reported that someone had jumped off the Comeau Bridge. The jumper reportedly swam to shore.
At 12:43 p.m., an employee at reported that a man was outside asking people for money. Police arrested Juan Mejia, 30, of 12 Chestnut St., Lawrence, on a trial court warrant for shoplifting.

At 5:48 p.m., police served a harassment order to a woman on Lacy Street.
