Trash Truck Rolls Over on 125

A truck generated a lot of buzz in town Thursday afternoon.

At just before 3 p.m., police received a call about an accident near Holt Road on Route 125. They arrived to find a 2001 Mack truck belonging to Northside Carting rolled on its side in the median.

No one was injured, Police Lt. Charles Gray said, and there were no other vehicles involved in the accident. It appeared that the truck had attempted to take a left turn onto Holt Road and rolled over.

And surprisingly, there weren't many traffic delays caused by the accident, because the truck rolled onto the median.

"The way it rolled onto the median, you couldn't have planned it any better," Gray said.

Northside Carting Inc. has been in business since 1994 and operates more than 50 collection vehicles in the region.
