Shoplifters and Wood Mishap

The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.
Saturday, Dec. 15
At 2:08 p.m., Kohl's reported that a man had run off with a cart full of merchandise. Justin Vega, 24, of 27 Byron St. 3rd Floor, Lawrence, was arrested for shoplifting and resisting arrest.
At 7:42 p.m., Kohl's reported another shoplifter. Police will summons the woman.

Sunday, Dec. 16
At 11:03 a.m., a caller on Johnson Street reported that a man was trying to steal her firewood. Police spoke to the man, who said it was a misunderstanding as to which property the wood was on.
At 5:40 p.m., a caller on East Water Street reported an odor of gas in their basement. It turned out to be a motorbike leaking gasoline.
