Science Lab Gas Leak and Student Liquor Arrest

The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.

Thursday, Feb. 1

At 7:19 a.m., North Andover High School officials reported a smell of gas in the building. It turned out to be valves in a science lab left open.

At 10:11 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Osgood Street and arrested Orlando Garcia, 31, of 25 Butler St. Apt. 5, Lawrence, for operating after revocation and three court warrants.

Friday, Feb. 2

At 12:30 p.m., a caller on Prescott Street reported that her car was egged overnight.

At 3:32 p.m., a caller at Oakridge Village reported that two "undesirable males" were driving in the parking lot.

Saturday, Feb. 3

At 9:05 a.m., Officer Brendan Gallagher arrested two juveniles at North Andover High School for possession of alcohol.
