School Sign Stolen and Customer Goes Dunkin Do-Nuts

The following are excerpts from the North Andover Police log. The information is open to the public.

Wednesday, May 11

1:01 a.m. Police received a call for an ambulance to Campbell Road concerning a domestic assault. They went to the home, where the alleged victim refused ambulance help, and they arrested Stephen B. McCarthy, 56, for assault and battery of a household member.

9:22 a.m. An employee at Atkinson School reported that the sign in front of the school had been stolen overnight. Police are investigating.

11:09 a.m. A manager at on Osgood Street reported that a customer had thrown a coffee at an employee there. Police are investigating.

1:08 p.m. A caller reported that his father's car had been vandalized overnight. Police checked the car and found key marks on all four sides of the vehicle.
