Scary Grandma and Bathroom Drug Use Reported

Friday, June 10

8:01 p.m. A caller reported that someone left dog feces on his doorstep. Police filed a report.

8:19 p.m. A caller reported that someone had struck his mailbox. Police are investigating.

Saturday, June 11

12:41 p.m. A caller on High Street reported that her son's father and grandmother were parked outside her home and refused to leave. The caller said she was scared and had left the home. Police went to the scene, and the father and grandmother left.

7:20 p.m. An employee of reported that after a couple used the bathroom there together, he went in and found a syringe.

Sunday, June 12

7:21 a.m. A caller reported seeing two suspicious black men at plant. Police went there, and the men turned out to be employees of  

1:17 p.m. There was a car accident involving two vehicles at Both cars were towed, and both drivers were taken to Lawrence General Hospital.

1:44 p.m. An employee at reported a shoplifter had tried to steal from the store but dropped some jeans as he fled. Police are investigating.
