Route 114 Accident Victim Identified

All three men involved in crash were from New Hampshire. One of them died at the scene.

Authorities have released the identity of the man killed in

Raymond Leclerc, 47, of Manchester, N.H., was killed when his car was in a collision with a delivery truck and another car. Leclerc was dead at the scene of the accident when rescue crews arrived, police said.

At about 5:30 a.m., police received several 911 calls reporting a major accident on Route 114 between and the When police arrived at the scene, they found Leclerc dead and the truck -- an electrical supplies delivery for Rexel -- engulfed in flames.

The driver of the truck, Thomas Dantoni, 50, also of Manchester, N.H., fled from the truck's cab before it caught fire and did not sustain any serious injuries. A third car was involved, a Pontiac driven by Brent Thompson, 40, of Chester, N.H. Thompson also escaped without any major injuries and were taken to Lawrence General Hospital by the North Andover Fire Department.

Police shut down Route 114 eastbound and westbound for a few hours, resulting in massive traffic backups all over the area. Police are still investigating the accident and will release information as it becomes available.
