Roaming Christmas Trees and Drama on Lacy Street

Monday, Jan. 3

12:25 a.m. A caller reported two suspicious vehicles on Christian Way, one with no lights on. Police went there but found nothing.

1:28 a.m. An officer removed a Christmas tree from the middle of the road on Salem Street.

3:39 a.m. A caller reported an unwanted guest at his home. An officer spoke with the guest, who appeared agitated, and then brought the guest to to wait for a ride.

6:46 a.m. A caller reported a Christmas tree rolling in the road on Massachusetts Avenue. An officer removed it to the side of the road.

10:25 a.m. A caller reported hypodermic needles and a spoon found on May Street.

10:50 a.m. A caller on Lacy Street reported that her neighbor removed her mailbox post. Both parties were spoken to.

12:19 p.m. A contractor at that same property on Lacy Street called reporting that a woman was protesting the removal of a barn by standing n it. Police went again and restored the peace.

2:40 p.m. A caller at that same property on Lacy Street reported a rottweiler running loose. Police went back there, but the only dog there was in its owner's vehicle.

4:11 p.m. The same caller on Lacy Street reported that her neighbors have blocked her driveway with boulders. An officer went back to the property but reported that the rocks were on the property to prop up a property stake.
