With the recent retirement of North Andover Police Lt. John Carney, Sgt. Eric Foulds has been promoted to lieutenant. And Officers Scott Whittaker and Stephen Diminico have both been promoted to the rank of sergeant.
The three were sworn in Monday night by Town Clerk Joyce Bradshaw.
And Sgt. Diminico had an especially exciting day recently.
"When the town manager and I told him about his promotion, he was at the hospital for the birth of his baby," Police Chief Paul Gallagher said.
Congrats Lt. Foulds, Sgt. Whittaker and Sgt Diminico. And an extra congrats to Sgt. Diminico on the new addition.
