Overturned Boats and Dog in Distress

The following are excerpts from the North Andover Police log. The information is open to the public.

Tuesday, July 12

1:58 a.m. Police requested an ambulance for an elderly man who was confused. The man was reported missing in Londonderry, N.H. Londonderry Police notified his family that he was found.

6:27 a.m. A caller reported that a sign at Stevens Pond had been vandalized. Police did not see any vandalized signs, but they did notice an overturned lifeboat.

10:38 a.m. A caller reported a mulch fire on the side of Turnpike Street. The fire was extinguished quickly.

12:27 p.m. A caller from Stevens Pond reported more boats overturned and their locks ripped off.

2:50 p.m. A caller reported seeing a dog in distress inside a vehicle at Police spoke with the dog's owner and reported the incident to Animal Control.
