North Andover Man Charged After Fight in Manchester, N.H.
The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A North Andover man has been charged with assault after an incident in Manchester, N.H., early Sunday morning.
Police were called to Murphy's Tap Room after a woman reported a man was attacked in front of the bar.
While police were speaking with a witness, they noticed a male flee. Police ordered him to stop, but he did not. A foot pursuit ensued, and after multiple attempts police managed to apprehend the suspect with a struggle.
Zachary Hubbard, 20, of North Andover, was charged with resisting arrest/detention and being a minor in internal possession of alcohol.
The alleged assault victim opted not to pursue criminal charges against Hubbard.
