Needles at School and Shoplifter

The following are excepts from the log.
Tuesday, Aug. 21
At 2:32 p.m., a caller reported finding a hypodermic needle on the ground at Kittredge Elementary School.
At 3:04 p.m., there was an accident on Turnpike Street involving multiple vehicles. Two people were reportedly taken to Lawrence General Hospital and one person was issued a citation for failure to stop.

At 5:09 p.m., Kohl's reported a shoplifter. Bess Muggia, 17, of 6 Midland Road, Andover, was arrested for shoplifting.
At 9:32 p.m., a caller on Main Street reported that her boyfriend was out of control. The boyfriend left before police arrived, and police advised the woman of her restraining order rights.
