In partnership with the American Heart Association, the North Andover Fire Department is hosting sidewalk CPR certifications around town.
They held one such event on Saturday, as part of the Fire Department Open House.
The department wants as many people in the community as possible to learn CPR. According to the American Heart Association, four out of five cardiac arrests occur at home, and immediate CPR greatly increases chance of survival.
