Mouse Sabotage and Runaway Daughter

The following are excerpts from the North Andover Police log. The information is open to the public.

Wednesday, May 25

7:39 a.m. An employee at reported a cut phone line/alarm. It is likely that a mouse chewed through the wire.

10:44 a.m. A caller reported that a Sony PlayStation had been stolen from their car. Police filed a report.

12:20 p.m. A caller on Morris Street reported that her white terrier had escaped. Police went to the home but when they got there the woman had already caught her dog.

2:25 p.m. An employee at reported a shoplifter who was now in Police arrested Siobhan Summer Matheson-Melly, 19, of Methuen, for larceny.

4:49 p.m. Market Basket reported another shoplifter. Police arrested Cleofa Jones, 2 Museum Square, Lawrence, for shoplifting.

Thursday, May 26

12:30 p.m. A caller reported a small dog running on the road near Main Street and Waverly Road. A neighbor took the dog to Andover Animal Hospital.

9:57 p.m. An officer was stopped by a woman who said her daughter had jumped out of the car wearing a mini skirt and ran off. Police later found the daughter in front of and notified her mother.
