More Package Thefts, More Turkey Trouble

The following are excepts from the log.

Wednesday, Dec. 21

At 12:08 a.m., a caller reported seeing youths hanging out near Massachusetts Avenue, and when she drove by they dashed into the trees. Police did not find the kids.

At 7:30 a.m., a caller on Foster Street reported a dead deer in his yard with an arrow sticking out of it. A hunter came by and removed the deer.

At 11:08 a.m., a caller on Nutmeg Lane reported that several packages were stolen from in front of their home in the past week.

At 3:14 p.m., a caller reported that turkeys were causing traffic trouble in the rotary near Old Town Common again. The turkeys were removed and sent on their way.
